January 7, 2016 – A70X started to dismantle the camp and the HF yagis..the wind won’t settle down & still very high seas.

Big thanks from all A70X team members for almost 12k QSOs. We tried our best to work everyone we can hear and we apologize to those who didn’t have the chance to work us. See you from next Qatari island hopefully soon.

10,000 QSOs now logged with activity ongoing until midnight Saturday. EI5GM, EI9FBB & MM0NDX have now left the island. None could stay the duration due to work commitments. Keep working us!

Shortly after midnight local, A70X started operations from Safliyah Island. We will continue for the next week with 3 stations on all bands, CW/SSB, possibly RTTY.
